At Bethlehem, we believe that the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God. We also learn that all people are born sinners and remain sinners and are thus in need of salvation. We believe that God, as revealed to us in the Holy Scriptures, is primarily gracious and merciful, but God is also just. We receive the undeserved love and forgiveness of God through faith in his Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, as his saving work is offered and given to us through the Word as it is proclaimed to us and through the Sacraments of Baptism and the Lord's Supper. Thus, we believe it is important for us to come together in worship and receive the gifts of God. Having received God's grace, forgiveness, and love, we are better empowered to share the love of God with others. We are united in faith and confession with the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
